Bright light straw with green hues.A very lifted and harmonious nose from the amalgamation of the two varieties. Crushed lemon, green nectarines from the Semillon and fresh cut-grass and juniper berries from the Sauvignon Blanc. The nose develops in the glass to a wider spectrum of aromas from apricot, pear characters to more tropical fruit characters such as litchi and mango with subtle sweet spice and floral notes. The mouth feel is fleshy with good weight featuring all the way through the palate. The acid is very well integrated providing a crisp mouth feel, greatly complimented by fresh nectarine flavours, lemon zest and subtle cumin seeds. Mineral characters linger on the back palate with a citrus zest finish. This wine is best enjoyed in its youth, and will develop more palate richness and subtle spicy flavours over the next 3 years.
